At the 2012 Emmy's: Orange and Yellow.

Leslie Mann in Naeem Khan
Haha, that's funny. Because my next post soon will be about orange, too.

Anyhoo! I was watching the Emmy's last night, and I saw so many gorgeous draping and tight dresses alike. But one thing I saw so frequently was the orange dresses. Every shade of orange, but just so much!! My eyes were blinded. I think the stylists are trying to say, Dahling, citrus is the new black.

I don't know about you, but I'm hesitant about hopping on the Citrus train.

Fall 2012 Nail Trends You MUST Try

Once the leaves start turning colors, the nails do too. Out go the neons, in go the dark and neutrals. This year, rich burgundy was seen everywhere, whatever you like to call it. Chianti, oxblood, wine, they're all one and the same, the hit color of F/W 12/13. This year, we're evolving into a variety of jewel tones, soft metallics, and bold nail designs.

Trend #1: Oxblood

Met Ball 2012 Trend Alert: Burgundy lips

Hello world! Yesterday, I was scanning pictures of the Met Ball online, and I was peeing my pants the entire time. Everyone looked so pretty!!! -cue gushing and sparkly eyes- In case you didn't know what the Met Ball is, it is the Costume Institute Ball used to celebrate the annual opening of the Metropolitan (Met) Muesum's fashion exhibit. It's a red carpet event, and the top celebrities attend. It is one of the biggest social events in New York City, and a big night for fashion. Many trends have been made right here, and this might be a big one.

At the Met Ball 2012, there was a range of colors, from the basic nude lip to the dark, vampy lip. But the dark, vampy lip stood out for me, because it's not a lip color that is usually worn very often. Some celebrites are shown here:

Spring/Summer 2012 Trends for Less: Neons and Brights

Hello, readers! Today I will be sharing some Spring/Summer trends that you can get for less than runway prices. A major S/S 2012 trend is NEON NEON NEON. Hopefully we won't get all the way overboard and back to the 80s, but I think I can find a way to incorporate it into your wardrobe.

Spring 2012 Beauty Trend: Red Lips

Hello readers! Today's post will be about the ever in style red lippies. I'm sorry I haven't posted in such a long time!! I'll try to make it up with more posts today, I promise. I've been really busy, unfortunately. Homework can really suck.

Anyway, red lips are no surprise. It was seen all over runways, from bright corals to deep burgundies glossed on model's lips. Red lips are being taken to new heights, every shade of the red spectrum have been seen everywhere. They have been pulled back from the vintage pinup era, and put into the 21st century. This Spring/Summer 2012 (S/S 2012) has been filled with the message: Combine vintage and modern styles to create your own and unique style. Shine and let people know you are here.

....

At least that's what I think. ;) Read more after the jump!

COLOR-BLOCKING

Well, spring's here, and summer is up coming, and I wanted to fill you guys in on the clothing I've seen on runways, the red carpet, and streets alike. To see more, look at my Pinterest board under Spring/Summer 2012.

So, apparently fashion is taking a book out of the '60s and '80s and popping it onto the 2012s.... wait, what? Would it be called the '12s? Or the '10s? Or... ANYWAY. Color-blocking is here! I'm happy, because the drab colors and frilly designs (shivers) of Autumn 2011 are gone, and bright color blockin is here!

Obviously, color blocking is a big trend right now. VERY big. People are wearing it head to toe, sometimes coordinating their outfits, or just little things, like shoes, purses, or a top. But it's the latest craze that you can see almost everywhere. Here are some examples:
