Hello, you gorgeous person that has stumbled upon my blog. First of all, I thank you for either having a finger spazz and clicking on my blog, or actually reading this on purpose, it means so MUCH to me. So for that, I thank you whole-heartedly.


What is this blog about?

Stylish Scribbles is about my ramblings in the beauty world, fashion-sphere, and chatterings of my life in general. I'm not as talkative to people in real life, but I could type and type forever. It's insane. In the beginning, this was a way of getting out my held in beauty/fashion thoughts, but it's come to teaching and learning with viewers as I keep typing out new content.


Who are you?

My name is Mai, and I'm a teenage beauty blogger. At the age of 8, I loved to watch people on the streets and on the TV, drinking in their faces and clothes. At the age of 10, I started designing clothing for myself and others, though I haven't learned to sew yet (on my bucket list). I still go to school, so I'm not to prompt on posting, but I try to get around to one post everyday, and at least one a week.

What are you?

I am Vietnamese, fully Vietnamese, even though my hair is not the generic sleek, straight Asian hair. Actually, it's quite the opposite. It's very thick and wavy-on-the-brink-of-curly. My face is a combination of combo skin and sensitive, and I'm slightly allergic to the ingredient titanium dioxide. I start to break out and it's nasty for a day or two. If you didn't know, titanium dioxide is a major ingredient in most foundations, bronzers, and sunscreens. It makes me sad. ):
Also allergic to caffiene. I get bumpy hives on my face and on my face alone. It's really awkward looking in real life.

I live in Washington State. That's enough said. I'm a complete NERD and so totally awkward in real life, how I actually have friends actually amazes me every night. I'm random as H-E-double hockey sticks, and I occasionally blurt out French and Spanish phrases, just because... I'm me.

 I've played the piano for four years, and the cello for four. I'm just learning to play the guitar, and I hope to learn it quickly, I love the instrument.

I guess you could say I'm artistic, my friends say I am, I don't see it, but I like to doodle and sketch various things. I'm into manga and anime. Also The Big Bang Theory, Star Wars, and anything Disney keep me occupied in my spare time.

I'm an avid inhaler eater of Pocky (good Asian biscuits), and my favorite color is aquamarine. That's also my birthstone and favorite gem.


If I have anything else to say, I guess I'll add it here sometime. If you made it all the way through these blocks of random crap, congrats! Pat yo'self on the back, you deserve that much.
